It doesn't look so bad... Trevor was in a hit and run accident last night during a thunderstorm taking a friend home from work that doesn't have transportation. THANKFULLY, NOONE WAS INJURED. Unfortunately, Trevor's truck had a dead battery so I let him take my car. First time he leaves the house in weeks and someone sideswipes him and takes off. Ugh. With the age and the amount of damage it will likely be totalled. ... It was absolutely depressing emptying it knowing I may never see it again. ... Asshole driver. ... We’ve been putting off getting a new car since I stepped back from full time work. When I was working our car never gave an ounce of trouble, I used to praise the quality and what a great car it was and why would anyone buy a new car when you could just maintain your current one for years. Well, more fool me. 😬 Over the last few months we’ve have put in a new oil sump ( ouch), tyres, brakes, calipers, drums ( what the heck are they??!) and now the gearbox is being looked at today and I’m afraid of what else might be found.
