Grabe! Super duper enjoy kaayo ko last night. Wala ko nag expect na makasulod pako sa last night sa #Summerfrolic2019 though I’ve been wanted to attend 1st & 2nd night. This is why #iloveMATI tungod sa mga buotan na tao diri. Daghang salamat kay ma’am Joy Cadorna for giving me her extra ticket / baller. Maski dili ta kaila personally pero wala ka nagduha-duha hatag sa ako. Salamat jud kaayo ma’am, na-enjoy jud ko og taman. To my pinsans & friends na nagpahiram sa 1 baller pa para makasulod mi duha sa ako uyab, speciallay kay madam Noreen de Erio na nagpasabog og alak, salamat kaayo sa inyo. Love jud mi ninyo 😘. This year’s #Summerfrolic means a lot to me. Kasi nga sa nangyari sa akin last year, that’s why I really wanted to attend. BLUE BLESS BEACH RESORT in Mati, Davao Oriental

Blue Bless Beach Resort is one of the new and famous beach resort in Mati City. It is situated at Sitio Pitugo, Barangay Bobon, Mati City, Davao Oriental, Philippines. The resort has their floating cottages on a cliff and has a view of the blue waters that is really inviting. It has several other amenities including convenience store near the floating cottages, billiard tables, closed and open cottages and a resto bar. They have kid’s pool and a pool with jacuzzi, superhero statues like America, Batman, Iron man and more.  The water is very calm and clear plus the food they offer are delicious. You can also enjoy the beautiful sunset view while dining. The resort has a boat that will take you to Waniban Island if you want to go island hoping. 

You may rent the floating cottages or rent a room if you want to stay overnight and they have water floaters you can borrow.The resort also gives the best service because they have life guard and attendant all over the place if you need assistance.

How to get there:

You can ride a bus or van from Davao City and it will take around 2.5 to 4 hours ride. The blue bless is around 12 KM away from city proper so you need to ride a motorcycle (also known as habal-habal) or multicab to finally reach the resort.

DAHICAN BEACH RESORT in Mati, Davao Oriental

Dahican, a place where you can easily fall in love. It has a stretch of 7km with tall coconut trees, fine sand, waves that is fearsome and the best kept secret of Mati is no longer a secret. By its simple environment but has the perfect kind of paradise with the closure to Boracay, people will surely enjoy a lot through its crescent-shaped coastline that is known with surfers, skim boarders and beach bum. As the sanctuary for sea turtles (pawikan), the local government tries to protect and preserve the area that the name “Dahican” is derived from “dahik,”. The word use by local people to describe their act from sea to nest.

The best season to visit is from the month of October to March and at night if you’re lucky enough to see pawikan lay eggs, keep eye on it.

How to get there: 

Catch the Bachelor Express bus to Mati at the highway outside Davao City airport or at the Ecoland Transport Terminal (around P250, 4-5 hours). You can also ride a van at Gaisano Mall or Victoria Plaza (P220, 3-4 hours). From Mati City Bus Terminal, hire a habal-habal or tricycle to take you to Dahican (P40 if you haggle well, 15-20 min.)

There are many resorts near the shore and most have rooms, cottages or tents for 50 pesos for options. An open-air cottage usually costs around P1000. Here are some places you can check out:
