Apology videos don’t mean shit. Apologies backed by no substantive action to improve are not only empty and meaningless, they’re actively corrosive, since they allow the perpetrator to continue acting the way they do. He hasn’t improved, hasn’t done anything substantive to make up for what he’s done. Why should I care about him any more?

In humor, if your audience doesn’t get your sarcasm, the problem isn’t with your audience’s lack of alignment with your thinking, it’s with your delivery. This argument is exceedingly boring, and stale. Go away.
