At the end of the long journey, their task had been complete. They’d destroyed the evil undead sorcerer who had cursed their families, freeing them from the fate of slowly dying. They could rest easy now knowing at least those they cared about would be alright... and that they wouldn’t be going on to the next great adventure alone. These are just some examples of the characters I have fallen in love with.

Sometimes it feels embarrassing to have loved these people like they are real, but I know deep down it isn't. They were written for people to love them. Just because my brain has been hard wired somehow to love easily (even if the people are fictional) doesn't make me embarrassing.

I want to write characters that way. I want to make people fall in love over and over again. I want to give someone comfort without it having to be through my own eyes, lips, voice, and words.
