Somehow when I do art for fun or for myself I always gravitate to the pinks! This is for the Clip Studio contest #galaxyscutest . I have never had the pleasure of using #clipstudiopaint but from what I’ve seen it’s pretty flexible and could be used on the tablet as well which is exciting! I just knew I would kick myself if I didn’t try entering at least one cute bean since this is a contest for cuties~! Between inktober posts I’ll be posting art I haven’t shown on here! This was a group shot for the art group I participate in where you draw people’s characters and such and participate in little art events! This one was set up like ArtFight where there were two teams and each entry was an “attack” that equaled a certain amount of points. Haha it was fun! Commissioned needle felt doll of a sweet little Arctic fox named Zero! He is about 4” tall and made entirely of cotton, wool, occasional embroidery, and his eyes are painted mini pins. He sits up all on his own and I’m excited to send him off to his forever home!

I am so incredibly glad we finally moved on from "i can has". Cats are clearly smart enough for advanced sentence structure and dumb enough to draw entirely incorrect conclusions about what they're talking about.

So... I needed a break between work, mermaids and life and so I finally sat and drew my favorite thing that happened in my Animal Crossing game... these three come out at night for a jam session CONSTANTLY! And it makes me SO HAPPY! The trick is to play the same music all over your island. But I love that Elvis wears his performer outfit and takes lead. Happy Mothers Day! I combined the prompts “Mushroom” and “Color Palette” for a little more complex piece. Besides there are two little mermaids here! I always loved the idea of mushrooms as harts.
