Rescue Bucky sticker is a go! Because he's got more fiddly bits than Backpack Bucky, I added a border around Rescue Bucky. He has fewer points where he can tear by softening the edges. Printing him onto shrink film now so I can start cutting Rescue Bucky pins ... then Rescue Cap, followed by Civilian Steve! Going to start work on Yuri and Victor from Yuri on Ice, and Alec and Magnus from Shadowhunters this week. Kinda jonesing to do the boys from Given, maybe BNHA, and Banana Fish. I baked a brace of Buckys. These are the shrink film Buckys I printed an cut with my Cricut Maker. Once they are cooled, I'll take a file to clean up any rough edges. Next step after that will be me learning how to work with coming resin to apply a finish. Then they'll get their posts attached. Working on designing backer cards, too. I would call this a auccess. I went back to the art tool and created a canvas that matched the maximum cutting dimensions. Then I added Buckys there and flattened the file. I saved as both png and .jpg and uploaded both. This is the .png version. I uploaded it and edited to remove the white background. Then I brought it into a new print then cut project. This is the result. Once I have my deep cut blade, I will be able to start making acrylic pins as well as stickers of this beautiful boy. I need to figure out how to add a ring at the top in order to make him into acrylic charms. Bucky stickers are go. I found that the tape I was using to lock down the paper on the cutting mat was confusing the sensors. By either excluding tape all together, or using Scotch Magic tape instead of painter's tape (which was what was recommended), I eliminated the massive skew in the cuts. Two sheets of 4 stickers each cut without major flaws. I don't have the right blade yet to cut the shrink acrylic for pins and charms, but I did a test cut with this design and some shrink acrylic. The cut lines didn't go all the way thru - as expected - but the cuts were accurate. I'll be working on bringing more of my designs into the format to print and cut.
