Trance Music -- A Religion of Life
Why it is a religion >> here goes >>
It is very simply an expression of one's self that culminates in the release of those minute packets of energy that are stored within us that would go unrecognized otherwise. And the means of achieving this is through a combination of sprawling melodies, bass-lines, grooves, drums, vocals and epic crescendos
Trance’s roots are in Germany in the early 90s. The two tracks generally considered to be the beginning of trance music are “Age of Love” by Age of Love and Dance 2 Trance’s “We Came In Peace.”
House songs are typically 126bpm to 132bpm while trance songs are 132bpm to 138bpm In general, it is safe to say that you can dance better to house music but trance is more musical, melodic and of course euphoric.
The 2000s was a landmark decade for trance music, pioneered by the two Dutch superstars DJ Tiesto and Armin Van Buuren. Both legends developed their own sounds and brought unprecedented energy into the dance arena. The "Sound of Tiesto," as it was called, comprised euphoric high-pitched crescendos, shrill and barely audible vocals, fast tempos and beautiful melodies. Tiesto conceptualized the concept of a DJ playing to a crowd of thousands in what became his massive EDM concerts
I live through Trance."Trance is so much more than Music. Trance to me is Lifestyle. Trance is Habit...."
“Trance goes where it will go. Whether it’s evolving or not, it always stays appealing to its listeners. People have to adapt over time, so does the music. Its purpose, however, which is high-quality entertainment, will never go away.”
It is just the feeling—the emotion that is in trance music. The feeling that it gives you is unmatched. I love that there is depth to it, and unlike other genres, it is not exclusively party music. That progressive house sound is something I love. It is a combination of the depth and the emotion that trance gives you, with the club-oriented beats, that makes it such amazing music. It is really music that can make you groove. The combination of the emotive energy and the progressive style is why I like trance music.
