hyemi and her brother used to be quite close growing up, but as they got older and it became clear how their parents favored the younger, a distance began to form between the two siblings. at first, she did really miss him (she was a clingy younger sister), but the fear of disappointing her parents and becoming a failure in their eyes overpowered those feelings. when he left, it was too much for her to ignore and she blamed herself. so she found herself coming to ilsang in search of him after finding a brochure in his room.
now that hyemi has been taken over, he’d technically be a complete stranger to “hailey”. i’m hoping to see what kind of emotions can form through their reunion in ilsang and if maybe they can mend their relationship with some assistance from our peculiar alien personality— potentially even getting her body back, maybe?
