As per usual, a smile (or an awkward, stupid face) would bloom whenever Sasagawa Kyoko was nearby. Perhaps it was because her cheerfulness was contagious, or maybe it was simply because he liked her presence. To say he was helplessly in love with Sasagawa Kyoko was not true, but half right as well. It was a mere crush, and even he himself had settled on with that fact, really.
“Kyoko-chan! Are you going somewhere today?”
Maybe one day he’d be able to properly ask her out.
