Made another Timelapse of my process, this time showing Copic Markers and a UNI PIN permanent ink pen.

This February I took a course regarding gender violence and comics(yes, all related) , and I learned a lot about different types of violence, not only oriented to gender, but regarding economy, family, human genre, etc.
I’ll keep working with this category... I’ll keep you posted...
I made this little gag/ illustration for fun, originally for the Forever Alone Fest, but actually I don’t know where the appliance went, so screw that, I was waiting to expose in the gallery where it was going to happen but never happened, still; I’ve got my beautiful Ilustra.mx domain to accompany me in these moments :)

Hello 2018!
I made some mayor decisions regarding the direction of this site, it’s the beginning of a new year and it is a great opportunity to for fresh starts. So I made some movements and redesigns between the old layout and the new layout, like adding sections and stuff that I didn’t know that you could add on Tumblr that appears a lot more professional, and not only like a generic blog.
This past year was an amazing year and I made a video to prove it, my goal for last year was getting me back into creative thinking and I found that journaling was an awesome way to practice the link between idea generation, execution and the final "illustration”. As not all the pages were illustrations, they were a good example to work with layouts, typography and obviously practicing the technical part within Watercolour and Gouache paints.
Everyday was a different challenge, and as days kept advancing, the content became more challenging, so I’m sure this 2018, there will be new challenges awaiting for me; and yes I bought a new Hobonichi to get back on track.
