So Hajime, how'd you meet Jyugo and what made you want to take him in? Most people your age aren't usually eager to be taking care of a kid, let alone by themselves.
(Hajime's response is blunt. He rounds the bend into his driveway and bursts into the house, grabbing an ice pack from the freezer and prompting Jyugo to press it against his head.)
[Partial Unlock - Jyugo's Past, Part 1 of ???]
Hajime: I don't know what the brat's told you, but I work as a police officer. I first found him in the cellar after receiving multiple reports of screaming from nearby neighbors. The culprits were never found.
(Hajime stops, seeming to be lost in memory of that day.)
Hajime: The first thing that I noticed were his eyes.
(He shakes his head.)
Hajime: To put it briefly, he was transferred to the nearest orphanage; he wouldn't eat, wouldn't sleep, wouldn't talk; hell, he wouldn't even move unless told to. It was only after I went back to check up on him did he react. So...I had to bring him with me. There; does that answer your questions?
(Hajime grumbles, giving Jyugo an exasperated look; however, it doesn't seem to be hostile or even angry.)
Hajime: Four weeks in, and the brat's been nothing but trouble. Random questions seem to trigger this kind of reaction, so unless you wanna see him like this again don't ask anything else out of him regarding his life prior to this.
(Jyugo cracks open an eye at that and gives Hajime an undiscernable stare.)
(Before either one of them speaks, the front door creaks open and Nico pokes his head in.)
Nico, from outside: ...Can I come in?
