Today is about owning yourself.
Loving yourself.
Accepting yourself.
And that runs deeper than just my sexuality.
It runs deeper than my gender.
It’s everything that is me, that has ever been denied as acceptable for anyone else.

Transgender, with a rare skin condition, as well as battling BPD. Never stop fighting 🙏🏼🙏🏼
epidermal nevus - rare skin condition - 28 years of fighting 💪🏼💪🏼
Inflammatory Linear Verrucous Epidermal Nevus (ILVEN) is a rare disease of the skin that presents as multiple, discrete, red papules that tend to coalesce into linear plaques that follow the Lines of Blaschko.
No One really knows about my condition so I thought I would tell you guys about it.
It's similar to psoriasis, an itchy red rash. For me it's in the crease of my leg, and it's a genetic condition with no cure. It's called ILVEN and it has one centralized area and then spreading around it. It can range from a faint itch to utter agony, which in my case has even kept me from school and it's typically around from near birth, 2 months old for me. Again, there's no cure for it but I put vaseline on it to kind of calm it down, it's also very flaky and peels in small bits, I've had surgery to remove the nevus (center) to try and get rid of it but that didn't work, it can anywhere on the body from the crease of the leg to sides or arms or even the face. I've had a doctor who believed it wasn't a thing and didn't exist.
I know this might annoy some people but I just... I've struggled with this for so many years and I know I won't get any representation or characters with it or see content involving my condition or even just posts about it so here it is, this is mostly from my experience
Wish I could get rid of my ILVEN sometimes. I mean, I’ve accepted it and stuff but it can be a massive pain in the tits sometimes
I've been added to a small online group of people who also suffer from ILVEN. It feels fucking fantastic to not be alone anymore.
