I almost forgooooooooooooot anyway
What were your thoughts as you read @crackmccraigen‘s post about Wander over Yonder being canceled?
*insert every dramatic NOOOO gif ever* I was pretty upset, I’ll be honest. I was SO sure that Disney was going to renew Wander Over Yonder. It was just SO GOOD. Besides that, it’d just won an annie award. Like, what the heck, Disney?????? And then I felt injustice in the fact that they made their decision without even listening to Craig and crew’s pitch? They just shut them down and said “two’s enough” before they’d even seen the effect of season 2. It was just SO NOT FAIR. Unfortunately, Disney and other networks often do these kinds of things. It’s like, who is making these decisions? Who hired them to be in charge of these things? Because sometimes it feels like they’re not very good at it. I still believe that Disney will eventually change their minds and give us more Wander. Also, shout out to @peepsqueak for starting this whole thing and doing an AMAZING job of keeping it running!

What made you join the fight to convince Disney XD to approve the third season of Wander over Yonder?
The fact that Craig had an idea for a third season and they just shut him down without even giving it a chance makes me feel upset. They made the decision to cancel the show before season 2 even properly got going. By the time we fans heard about it, Wander had just met a BOOM in popularity from “My Fair Hatey”, and the episode “The Breakfast” had just won an Annie Award.
With all of the crazy hateful things going on in the world, we NEED more shows like Wander Over Yonder. We need more shows with good morals and great role models like Wander.

What is the best thing that has happened to you the past year because of Wander over Yonder?
I don’t think there’s really a single event that happened to me. Mostly, the show just inspired me to be a better person.
I’ve started setting up a charity fundraiser doodad thing that you might have read about, and I have never done anything that ambitious before. I still don’t know if that’s going to actually happen, but even considering the possibility of doing something like that because I chose to and not because someone made me do it is a pretty big step forward for me.
I hope that someday I can inspire people the way that Craig and the rest of the WOY crew have inspired me with this show.
