YEAH LIKE i love tiso but y'all Please give the girl side characters some attention as well please i am begging
yeah :[ it always seems to be the case that people will overlook them for such a bland character just bc he’s a guy??? obviously once they give attention to the guys, they are more interesting, but most times you could’ve taken a characters story from the actual plot and expanded on them and they’d be even better that what you made up for such a flat character!!!
and i don’t mean to be so bitter, but this behavior did make me uncomfortable w taz: amnesty (among other, more personal reasons). like, dani/aubrey was Right There but people preferred pairing duck with the mothman and never focused on the two outside of the dramatic moment. you would get so many domestic fanart pieces of duck/indrid and the only pieces i’d find of dani/aubrey were of dramatic canon scenes (only drawn bc aubrey’s... you know. a main character and is super involved in the plot and dani, by being important to her, is a big part of it). and then in the clone wars too, tho i haven’t drawn them much, i like rafa and trace! trace/ahsoka is a solid pairing!!! and yet there’s almost nothing for those two. and in comparison to the martez sisters, people r so quick to give the bad batch characterization they, quite honestly, do not have. i love the clones a lot and i’m glad to see some attention given to them, but in tcw s7 the most interesting characters we were newly introduced to were the martez sisters! yet there’s nothing for them.
i don’t know if i was too coherent with this, but... yeah. it’s not the first time this has happened so i’m not surprised, but it’s still :| moments
