six sentence sunday

Each and every Sunday, I’m gonna post six or so sentences from the next chapter of ILYD. This week, it’s a bit from the beginning of chapter nine. 

“So, what did lover boy bring you today?”

Gerard looked up from the textbook cradled in his lap, nearly dropping the pen he was making notes with and ending up with ink all over his hands in his efforts to catch it.

“Who?” He tried playing stupid but Gerard knew he meant Frank, and Mikey knew he knew, so it wasn’t a very good attempt. Mikey didn’t say anything else, he just stared at his brother until he gave in and sighed.

“Coffee. Again. And it was perfect.” Gerard knew he sounded whiny, but he couldn’t help it. Each and every day it was getting harder and harder to resist Frank.

OKAY so real talk, the next chapter is like 90% written I just need to finish it and edit it and send it off to beta but I’m kind of consumed with finishing my BBB rn and I think that will be awesome too? honestly it’s gonna be like one story posted and then the update or the other way around, like a one two punch, and then hopefully I will not be so sucky? idk, I suck, I guess I should just stop pretending I’m going to update on a regular basis because I apparently do not have that capability
