jackie lifts augustine's chin, invoking eye contact. / @revoltoso
the blonde was rarely timid. or, she liked to think so. honestly, more times than not she was likely to conceal her reddened cheeks behind blonde strands and hope that no one took notice of her humility. there was something about jackie that always had her heart leaping a mile a minute, had her fingers twitching to reach out and touch her. she’d pin it as some sort of soul connection between the two, but sometimes, late at night, she’d call it what it was - denied feelings. a lack of ability to flourish into something tangible that now, left her, at times, aching to fill a gap that was reminiscent of her frame.
she hadn’t realized her chin had dipped towards her throat until she feels manicured nails dipping beneath jaw, skirting their way to the peak of her chin. as her neck cranes to assist in the motion, her gaze settles on jackie’s eyes, a shy grin playing onto naive features, “what?” voice is softer than anticipated, meek, almost. while being hoarse with burden of the weight of unsaid words. focus drops towards her painted lips, following the outline of lipliner, then lifting back to her dark hues. “when you do this, it makes me think about kissing you,” a humorless huff of laughter escapes her as she feels her cheeks grow hot.
augustine slips her hand towards jackie’s tucking fingers between her’s, pulling her hand from her face. “you do this on purpose, i’m convinced,”
