This is a tickle fic! Please don't read if that's not your thing

"Okay, Marcy! Let's see how long I can hang onto this tree!"
Anne and Marcy were in the Wartwood forest, looking up at a low tree branch, high enough for someone to hang onto without touching the ground, yet low enough for someone to easily jump up and grab.
"The stopwatch is ready!" Marcy stated, looking up from Anne's phone. Anne nodded to her friend, opening and closing her fists. Anne reached for the branch above her, and gripped it's rough bark with both of her hands, now hanging on with determination glazed in her eyes.
Anne was certain she could make it at *least* five minutes, she was sure. She glanced down to her phone in Marcy's hands, seeing so far she has held on for almost a minute.
"So, what exactly are we accomplishing with this?" Marcy asked, confusion and curiosity seeping through her words.
"I don't know, but let's just say it's just for fun!" Anne replied with a wink and an adorable little smile that made Marcy's heart flutter. Her face flushed as she smiled back. Marcy read the time on the stopwatch, which read '2.17 minutes'. Anne didn't have any struggles yet, at least none that Marcy noticed. She was hanging on with ease.
"Say, Anne? Shouldn't we put a little extra *challenge* into this challenge?" Marcy asked, mischievousness dripping through her tone and shining across her eyes. "Perhaps this a bit too easy? Maybe we should, I don't know, heighten the difficulty?"
Anne could just feel her friend's smirk. She squirmed a little bit, unknowing of what her friend was planning. Even though she was a bit anxious, she was deeply curious.
"Sure," Anne decided. "What's the extra challenge?" As if on cue, fingers started spidering down her sides, squeaky giggles streaming out.
"Marcyyyyy!" Anne whined, her grip loosening ever so slightly, her arms trembling trying to hang on rather than let go to protect her sides. "I'm trying to hahang on, not fall ohohoff!"
"Which is why this makes it more challenging!" Marcy piped up. She started squeezing instead, each time her hands dug into Anne's sides sent an electric sensation shooting through her body, leaving her laughter to escalate. She kicked her legs, which only helped loosen her grip more.
Marcy moved her hands over her ribs and as soon as she got under her arms- Anne screeched as she let go, falling on top of Marcy, knocking the two to the ground in a small heap. Anne let out a couple of remaining giggles, hugging her sides.
"You okay?" Marcy questioned with a bit of playfulness and genuine worry. "Yeah," Anne replied with a sheepish smile. "In fact, that was kind of fun. We should do it again!"
The rest of the day was spent trying to get a new record and laughter, to which even Marcy tried out as well. They never checked the stopwatch.
