Meta about inspiration! Where does it come from? Does he ever actively seek it? If so, how? Does he wait til inspiration strikes or does he try to write /something/ regardless? How does he deal with writer's block? Any stories he started but gave up on?
SEND ME A TOPIC TO WRITE A META ABOUT MY MUSE ON // meme cache
Inspiration is a fickle thing, something that isn’t wholly tangible and yet so near at the same time. It comes from words, from stories, his life, and what he has seen. Many of his fictions have something autobiographical in nature laced in them. A man in a Carta coat coming after a surfacer, a love once lost, a man in Hightown looking for answers to questions that are shrouded by shadows. All of these stories, they all have pearls of his life locked within them, and he’s played the long game on showing how he writes by watching others and adapting stories or finding that topic exciting and writing on that.
He is a man that is always trying to put ink to paper, even if it’s only a handful of words or a sentence, he’s of the volition that if you are writing you are bettering yourself for that, even that one sentence, those paltry hundred words are something on your dole and that makes everything all the better for it. He forces his way through writer’s block, or reads if he can --- taking his focus off of it, shifting his focus allows him to resettle and change his tactic when writing, allowing himself to better pull himself up by his bootstraps.
There is ash, it lies in a fireplace, the only book he’s given up on. It was burned on the day of his mother’s death.
tbh should i even have a sideblog for my mcr stuff.....
