I am a fellow ‘you’re the only joe writer I can read’ and I think it’s because your focus in your fics is never ‘oh look at joe he’s so cool and shiny and famous’ like obviously he’s famous and it has to be mentioned on occasion but it’s never the main premise. And you just make him really soft (also I like the format of your writing because you use shorter sentences and I think you’re just clever with wording and in tone, and generally very easy to read!) and I put it in a request ages ago about all your readers being avoidant-ish but I fucking love that
