chat am I insane for thinking that, when asking for art requests, it's basic etiquette to at least ask for something within the artist's interests by default?? this isn't about any of my beloved tumblr mutuals; I'm having altercations on deviantart.

I like drawing people's ocs #but when your one(1) interaction with me is you commenting 'do you take requests?' on my profile #well. it feels disingenuous at best and actively annoying at worst #once again reiterating this isn't about anyone on tumblr. y'all are actually respectful #this is specifically about like. 4 people I've encountered on DA this week

i love it when people make diagrams/concepts about how the metaphysics of zelda worlds work, especially in regards to the relationship of Hyrule/Lorule and where Null is. The differing interpretations are so interesting and I feel like an academic in Lorule Studies™️ when I look through them like--

The Cylinder Model (Wings, B. 2026) suggests that Hyrule and Lorule are independent worlds created by the Golden Three. However, other theories suggest that Lorule's creation was consequential in nature. For example, Berrie, W. (2026) theorizes that Lorule/the world it resides in was born out of the natural forces of reality itself, as an equal and opposite reaction to the Goddesses act of creation. The Ring Model meanwhile by antelunarium (2026) proposes that it is a product specifically of Hyrule's creation, and as such it is pointed downwards and towards Null in a meta-spatial sense.
