           ❛    hmm—?     ❜   he’s drowsy , sleep still clinging onto his conscious despite his inward protest to stay awake , to look at her , to admire her , always. always . it’s only been a month, nearing two , since they’ve been together and he’s — he’s scared , yes — but he’s learning a lot. he still can’t believe he has her ; has his manners of convincing really that good , he wonders ? no , it shouldn’t be , because how could an innocent girl willing to jump hoops for a criminal she’s just met and whose Fate told that he’s her eternal soulmate ? but there she is , anyways . just mere inches from her .

         so far , she’s respected him enough when he says he needs the space. she’s gentle at giving him , knowing that he hasn’t had good experiences being close with anybody with what he’s endured through his childhood. but she — she likes contact , he thinks . years of being trapped in a tower would make you crave for one , so sometimes he wills his nerves and … and touches her . reassuring ones , ones that he thinks would bring some sort of comfort even though he has no idea how to do that. he’d never been touched in forms to comfort before , excluding the moment when he’s in his youth and his caretaker had been motherly nice to him before she was taken away. but she would smile — and she would be the loveliest , just the most beautiful — and he’d know he has done something good , at least , if she can look at him like that .

       apart of him is scared , felt abused . maybe she’s feeling the way she feels because of the time stamp that’s keeping them bound — magic , after all , is not foreign to either of them. what if the spell’s broken one day , and she would find herself hate him ? what would he do then ? how would he have dealt with his heart then ? this aching heart that he knows slowly , gradually , is missing her , longing for her . but … but then she’ll say these little things. and like her smile , it completely blows him away because — she says the oddest things , yes — but it makes his chest tight , and his nerves go all crazy . it makes him feel like if he could fall for her , like this , then he wouldn’t mind the pain of bearing it . and that , also , maybe , it isn’t magic , if these little things like his hair falling would catch her so amazed .

        he’s on top of her in a second , on their bed , and he’s been close before , but never this dominating and for a moment he hates himself for it. but he hovers , not quite touching , just watching her , because she’s amazing , she’s beautiful and his heart is yearning — and he brings a hand , right where her eyebrow starts .    ❛    like this ?    ❜    his hair falls around him then , reminding him that he’s gotten it longer than father would’ve approved , and he should cut it soon . or maybe he shouldn’t . whatever . and then he leans down , very preciously slow , and he takes his time before his mouth tastes her . and every time , he thinks , every time he does this: it feels like the first time.

          he buries his nose in her neck and makes a tiny noise because he’s scared , but with her — with these little things — he thinks he’s a bit braver. he also thinks he’s ready to sleep with her this close now . he likes her warmth . he likes it very much .

my brothers ex gf just came to our house and asked to use our bathroom in the middle of our dinner cuz she "was in the neighborhood" and my brothers current gf was here and literally just sat and watched in horror as he, my dad, and the ex interacted i literally cannot breathe
