ㅤㅤㅤㅤSometimes events would align with smooth perfection and send the message that everything, every single detail about them were meant to be. Everything had matched to bring Wrath to that position, one he hadn't indulged in so long. His joy was palpable.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤThe domains of his old house had been cleared since his last real visit. No bodies were scattered, printed on the walls of the ruins where he used to live. There was no other human presence in the whole island, it was safe to assume its owners had finally decided the place stored more danger than the countless snakes slithering about.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤIt was only him, his foot, and the wretched creature underneath his sole.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤThe angel winced in the spot they'd been trapped. The noises they made caused an uproar, within Wrath's mind, of praises and words of encouragement. He looked down at the incapacitated fallen amidst the voice's attempts at making him be quick with the task, exerting certain control over what he heard.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤ Don’t butcher, don’t ruin it; you need it whole, you need it as is.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤ Denying himself the pleasure of dismantling that angelic form was almost erotic. It ignited something inside him, an itch Wrath seldom chose to not scratch. “Ya lucky,” was all he managed to murmur, a coarse intonation followed by the childish tilt of his head. “I wanted that so motherfuckin’ bad.”

ㅤㅤㅤㅤ “Maybe in another life.”  Wrath let his foot slide to the fallen angel’s side, confident that the shackles holding their wrists tightly above their head wouldn’t have them escape. He crouched, then straddled their lap at the sound of all screams urging him to back away -- the type of order he couldn’t, nor would answer.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤ His hand raised to cover their mouth, pressing down with unintended force when they sank their teeth into his palm. The act earned them an extra punch that didn't make part of Wrath's plans, and a harsh snarl that opposed the otherwise lax stance the archdemon had taken since finding the fallen, as delivered by Diniel.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤ Anything from there on would've been stalling the inevitable, they both knew. Wrath needed that body hollow, without a soul before Simon could arrive from her adventures, but with enough intact so that she could repurpose it.

ㅤㅤㅤㅤThe fallen angel’s neck was way too small in his grip as slender fingers finally circled it with ease and tightened in order to block their trachea. Immediately, Wrath felt their throat tense up against him, then teeth that cut deeper into the hand muffling any noises escaping their mouth and legs kicking behind him. 

ㅤㅤㅤㅤ Minutes, he didn’t need to count to know. Their end wasn’t swift, but at least it was somewhat clean.
