This is my story. I was told that I had breast cancer 3x. Breast cancer is an uncontrolled growth of breast cells. Breast cancer does not control me. I lost my hair twice. I am not my hair. I thought I lost years of my life recovering from breast cancer. At one point I thought I was going to lose my life. To my surprise breast cancer was a gift. A gift given to me so delicately wrapped and it was just for me; My story, my life, my journey to help others. So many women are afraid of breast cancer. I share my story to all women - Don't be afraid. Sometimes things happen to us that we don't understand, we don't agree... Hell, some things are placed in our lives that we don't want. We must not give up. To all survivors out there, what ever challenge you are facing, that's your gift. This is your life, your journey, your story. I challenge you to open your gift, look at it, fall head over heels with it. Good morning! I received a call this morning. A young lady felt a lump in her breast so she made her first mammogram appointment. The appointment is this week and she nervous because she has no one to go with her. I told her I would go but she lives far away. She said she hangs with mostly guys and she is embarrassed to ask... We laugh because I shared with her that I'm a 'guys girls' also 😎 and I told her I just had a sonogram done and I had my buddy @iamktnelson in the room with me. This video is for you lady❤️💋 she told me that I always look cool and calm💪🏽 - Thank you Ms.Virginia but I'm scared every day (as tears roll down my face😢) Now, chin up, grab your guy and power through! 👊🏾✌🏾️ #iampinkchoseme #im2Young (at New York, New York)
