Some days are amazing. I feel so alive, so loved, and so free. Others days aren’t as great. I’m tired, weak, thinking about the past, not living in the moment. And then there are days that I wish I were no longer in existence. It feels like I have to wake myself up from the dead. But you know what? I’m still here. The good, the bad, the ugly. I’ve made it here this long and am learning to live my life with open eyes. I’m not going to let toxic people from my past control my thoughts everyday. Yeah, the intrusive and negative thoughts do get the best of me at times. But right now I’m on a road trip with some of my best friends, I’m talking to a really kind and unique person, and I’m working on bettering my future. Things are beautiful and I have to remember that those things really will not ever change, even if those bad or horrible days hit. I’m strong. I got this.
