Theres candle wax leaking over seams Turning blades drowned the noise of bird chirps Past an open window a tree lays still But still is sprouted above and beyond view The air is heated yet not hot Webs grasp against screened holes Theres a flavor of mist surrounding The light is just with shadows plagued backward Eyes are tested with shady lights and darks A paper comes to life every so so With little moments to break free Only small things change Everything is constant here

I would really love to go to sleep right about now, but my mind is buzzing away. Every time I close my eyes to settle it just whirs away in my head, playing over scenarios like those old, black and white film projectors, the inside of my eyes becoming the canvas.

I'm also hungry. I really want some really buttery toast, or some crumpets, but I know for a fact we don't have any butter in, and I'll wake the dog up if I go downstairs. 

I hope I get to sleep soon.
