How to Ensure Release Campaigns Live Up to Their True Potential

Chances are high that a lot of music artists out there have to put on this image or persona in order to sell records.  Maybe this isn’t as true with the more down to Earth indi musicians, but the ones who are released under famous rock or rap labels certainly have an image to maintain.  Some of these artists do well by just being themselves – but others seem to be promoted in a way that fits their label rather than their own individuality.  The worst thing that can really happen here is that an artist will look harder than they really are, and that is alright as long as nobody can call them out on it. Fans can often be the harshest critic of a musician.  They might like the first album they produced, but be angered when their second album doesn’t bring the fire again.  If an artist has to hide behind some sort of brand or image, they’ll have a harder time maintaining that image their entire lives.  Acting hard only goes so far right?  I think that it pays for an artist to show their many sides, including one that is more vulnerable and sensitive to others. http://www.musicthinktank.com/blog/all-or-nothing-how-to-ensure-release-campaigns-live-up-to-th.html
