From the image notebook. I have a fic stemming from this….if I ever get back to it.

I also had the urge to make Qui-Gon a vampire instead of a Sith. This edit is very vampiric. Guess a vampire!Qui-Gon/Obi-Wan needs to be added to my list.

His former master’s eyes burn gold, ringed in red like the Coruscant sunset, but his mouth still curves to the right when he smiles, though this smile is sharper, more hungry than Obi-Wan has ever seen it.

Healing (QuiObi ficlet)

Qui-Gon's eyes open first, blue as glacial water. His breathing changes, a stuttered and short gasp of air through pale, cracked lips, ending in a cough that leaves his jaw trembling beneath the beard that Obi-Wan has kept trimmed.

All Obi-Wan can see is blue. All he can hear is that rasping breath. And when he goes to his knees at Qui-Gon's bedside, touches his master's breast with his fingertips, all he can feel is the strong, steady heartbeat that has been, for weeks, frail and erratic.

Identical gray markings on three black buttons. Three different sizes, like a plastic two-dimensional snowman on an ottoman. A hole in the bottom of the quartersized bag separated them when I found them, but how did they fall from the pocket? The pin hole under the zip seal tells a fraction of a tale, which the missing pin completes. I infer the worst, just to use it as a limit. Identical markings: Kenneth Cole: Reaction. Kenneth Cole, clothing designer, authorized construction of three different-sized factories with identical gray markings on the doors; the single stroke of a giant brush. They turn out coats, buttons, and smoke into the atmosphere. Side by side they emit their fog, which mingles proportionate to their sizes, a cloudy snowman made to linger in the summertime air. The summertime heat, born to linger long into December. We infer the worst.
