He looks at himself; his clothes stick to him, uncomfortable and soaked, but his body isn’t trembling from the frozen water. He doesn’t feel the ice beneath his body, nor the frost accumulated in his hair, he doesn’t see his breath clouding in front of him however he just catches the sight of his blackened fingertips turning pale white. As a hitched breath escapes him, he feels his lips twinge with soreness as they crack and split open. He lifts a finger to touch it, but flinches back against the pain with a wince, looking about him in confusion. “Hyung,” his voice rasped out, croaky and uncomfortable. It stung the back of his throat and he recoiled from it for a moment, shaking fingers clasping around the base of his neck in shock, until he chokes out another “hyung?!” The answering silence is the only thing that sends a shiver rattling through his body.
