question for THE ENTITY: is flying really energy intensive, or is it like a light jog?

It's like walking or running -- it depends how fast you're going and the amount of power you're putting into movement. Gliding around on outstretched wings is pretty comfy, only requiring you to hold your wings out for an extended period of time like standing.

Flying at a regular pace is no more effort than a walk, but speed flying or divebombing are their own specialist movement sets that can be as intense as a jog or a full on adrenaline-pumped power run!
