Valentines Day Asks

@imaginariaarbor Inquired: [Akashic to Alaric] She's just offering up some chocolate for him to try if he so wants it. Akashic might not fully celebrate the human holiday but hey- it's an excuse to spend more time with the God—

The instant that the other happened to present him with the chocolate that she had brought along for today's... "excuse" for visiting him, his gaze flickered down to it. That was the typical custom for humans on this holiday, wasn't it? To give chocolate or other such things to the one they loved as a romantic gesture-- Or in some realms, it was the side of the spectrum for women to do such things and men would have a time at a later date. He had no reason to follow such a holiday structure, but all things considered... he saw no reason to decline. Especially not since it was from Akashic.

Wasting no further time he would take one of offered chocolates, bringing it closer to his face to inspect it closer before plopping it into his mouth and started to chew as he allowed his eyes to close. It was... sweet. Not overly sweet, but a good balance between the natural bitterness of the chocolate and the natural sweetness of the sugar. It wasn't bad.

Once done with that particular piece, he would allow his eyes to slowly open; shortly after he would take another piece between two fingers, looking at it for a brief time before his gaze would flicker to her face. Needless to say amusement had crept into the smile that he had, starting from the moment he picked up that second piece of chocolate and growing all the way to the point that his gaze changed targets-- and then his hand would begin moving towards her face. It was pretty clear what his intentions were with this, at least.

" Open your mouth, Akashic. "

Valentines Day Asks

@imaginariaarbor Inquired: [Psychi to Liam] He's going to come in from paperwork to find her cooking in one of his longer shirts- ears swiveling at his arrival. "Liam~ It'll be ready in a short bit here~" The female chimed happily, tail flicking back and forth. The table had already been set as well. Seems she had been busy with the Valentine's dinner plans.

Immediately he would blink... several times in fact. He knew that Psychi hadn't been with him working on things today, which he had no issues with since it was his duty to do them-- and she had been helping a lot lately, so she deserved some rest. And the fact that she was clearly in one of HIS longer shirts told him that she had been doing just that; however the fact that she had gotten up at some point to start making them a dinner for today, complete with an already set table, was not something he had been expecting her to do.

But then it happened to hit him. It was Valentine's Day.

He had been so busy with his work that he had lost track of the days, and hadn't realized that it was Valentine's Day! Immediately he would let out a soft sigh, a smile working its way to his features. It was a good thing that at least one of them happened to remember... though he was fully aware of the fact that he would get ripped into by his own other personality for it later. Probably whenever he was done harassing Sentience for the holiday, if he had to hazard a guess. That was definitely another issue for another time though.

" ... Thanks, Psychi. " Instead of heading straight for the table however, he instead moved to her side. " It smells really good. If there is anything that I can do to help out, let me know okay? You help me out enough that its mine turn to return the favor. And since I didn't say it this morning, happy Valentine's Day. "

Valentines Day Asks

@imaginariaarbor Inquired: [Zhen to Silas] "Silas~! Happy Valentine's day!" She chirped happily, humming in delight before letting out a noise of happiness as she offered him some homemade cookies and sweets. Very happy Zhen chirping.

To say that he had been taken by surprise by Zhen's sudden happy chirping would have been... quite the understatement. Valentine's Day, huh? Quick to recover from his surprise, he would be blatantly lying to say that his mind didn't drift over to just how strange it still felt to celebrate this particular holiday. He had only done it twice, both since he had met with her and since he had allowed himself freedom after all. It was only natural.

" Happy Valentine's to you too, Zhen. " After responding to her greeting, his gaze would travel down to the platter that she happened to be holding, taking in the sight of what she had decided to make for him. These cookies and sweets were very clearly homemade-- there were some distinct appearance indicators that could only pop up in their home present upon them, which obviously gave it away. Alongside the fact that they clearly weren't made by a machine too, of course.

Though once he had registered that she had made him something for this particular holiday, he felt a twinge of guilt... he hadn't done anything for her! But at the moment there wasn't too much he could do about that fact-- aside from share the treats with her while he put some thought into things, that is! And that was exactly what he was going to do, since he elected to grasp at a single one of the cookies rather than take the entire dish from her.

" Thanks for the treats, Zhen. Why don't we find a good spot to sit and share them? "

A... rather saddening choice, being perfectly honest. But all things considered, it wasn't as though it didn't make sense. Even being a deity, his own life span-- in spite of his immortality-- was nothing compared to her own. And that wasn't even taking into account the inevitable events that would befall him; or by extension both her, and their daughter Kishi.

" An immortal god as I am, nothing compares to permanent fixture of existence that the Records are-- or the physical incarnations of them. It is very likely that both her and I will one day "disappear"... but the highest honor I can have is a permanent marker upon her time as the Records' embodiment. "
