Circumstances bring four very different women together to form an investigative agency in Seoul. What’s initially a business partnership becomes much more as they work through not only the dangerous cases brought to their door, but the personal mysteries they carry with them.

--Park Min Young as the ace secret agent whose identity was outed while she was on a mission. She barely made it out alive, and now her driving goal is to find out who ‘burned’ her...and why. The Brains.

--Park Shin Hye as the streetwise gangster with a wicked right hook and a grudge against the mobster who killed her father. Subscribes to the Robin Hood principle of fighting the powerful to protect the weak. The Brawn.

--Suzy as the glamorous night club singer who seduces her way through the underworld in quest of information that might lead her to her long-lost older brother. Knows she’s beautiful, and uses it. The Ice Queen.

--Kim So Hyun as the tagalong genius high school hacker who’d love to get a little field experience...if only her unnis would let her. But when their backs are against the wall, she’s the one they turn to. The Cyber Warrior.

Dramas I Need Right Now, Part 1

--A young chaebol heiress gets kidnapped by a gang, escapes, and winds up taken in by a group of plucky urchins on the streets of Seoul who aid her in trying to untangle the secrets of her past as she realizes her family might not want her back. Of course, she and the ‘bad boy’ leader of these ‘lost children’, who has secrets of his own, fall madly in love. Preferably played by Kim Seul Gi and Ji Soo.

--An epic, adventurous sageuk story about a prince forced to marry a  princess from a foreign country as part of a truce when they’re children. She resents their marriage as well, and the two hate each other as they grow up, always pettily squabbling...until a political coup turns them into unwilling allies on the run right before their marriage is due to be consummated. From enemies they become friends and from friends they fall in love as they gather support and become the leaders of a guerrilla rebellion that steals from the rich to feed the poor, eventually reclaiming their thrones to lead their country into a brighter future. Preferably played by Park Bo Gum and Kim So Hyun.

--A young man from a prominent family struggling with depression is sent to an old country house by his disapproving family in an effort keep him of out the public eye. There he meets the ghost of a young woman who died there decades ago. Life and death fall in love in the dreamy moments in the boundaries between being asleep and awake as he tries to solve the complicated mystery of her death, and begins to find himself again in his long-forgotten art. Preferably played by Kang Haneul and Park Bo Young.

Dream Drama Concept IV: Badass Society Lady VS Investigator Upstart

Ra Mi Ran (I have such a girlcrush on her from Unni Slam Dunk)

plays the CEO of a corporation left to her by her husband, beautiful and powerful enough to get into the right parties--but has no society wife friends. Something about her is too intense. And her husband died quite young...

Jung Il Woo is an investigator who is really close to making the case to kickstart his career*--tying her corporation to underworld mob business. But when he goes undercover to work for her, he finds out she herself may be the mob connection.

And that it’s a mistake to think an older woman isn’t as passionate and clever as you are. Moreso.

When things get hot between them the crisis of conscience is exquisite, but there are no apologies for being attracted, either.

Featuring: Lee Tae Hwan as her “enforcer” who has loved her fiercely from the time she first beat him up to send her mob-boss dad a message about him commissioning “bodyguards” to spy on her. He helps her keep up her fighting shape. (A woman of a certain age MUST exercise for her figure.)

Jo Eun Ji plays the bestie from CEO Ra’s childhood. She’s never shed her tomboy persona (they were a pair of delinquents back in the day), but though tough-talking is soft hearted. If she knew she played the part of conscience for her friend she would be horrified.

Especially since she’s the seemingly useless sales manager who actually oversees the part of the business that connects with the mob. (Her dad’s also a mob higher-up.)

She is in love with the above puppy. They actually become a happy couple, after a lot of cute bickering, because even besties deserve love.

Also, I like watching tough guys be bossed around by their ladies.

1516, Joseon: Five young people die in mysterious circumstances, throwing the court into turmoil over the loss of not only a  princess, but some of the most promising minds of the rising generation. It's a terrible ending to so much potential. 

Fate’s a bitch. But sometimes, fate decides you get a do-over.

In the present day, five teenagers attend high school together... But the only connection they seem to have is their mutual dislike. It looks like fate may have made a mistake, because how can a student body president, a top notch athlete, the school's worst student, a thug, and a girl so shy she barely speaks share a destiny? But when deja vu starts to feel more like memory, unlikely relationships begin to bloom. And when nightmares start to take on the feeling of prophecies, they'll begin a search that takes them through libraries and graveyards, museums and nightclubs to find out not only who they were before, but who they will become.

However,  there was a sixth person who died that night five hundred years ago, and if they've returned as well, their questions may not seek such benevolent answers.
