Same!! Honestly it made me pine for Cougar Town because Christa's character is definitely Ellie-adjacent.. the blunt love/hate relationship with the husband, and her and Gaby are giving Ellie/Laurie vibes. I enjoy all the characters and dynamics so much though!

now that hijack is over, what were your thoughts on it? i really loved it!!! and i cried so much through the finale omg. also i can't find even one (1) gif set of this show which is upsetting considering how good it is

I enjoyed it a lot!! 10/10 cliffhangers every week and I feel like the whole season flew by (pun intended). Obviously we all knew what would happen in the end but they managed to keep the tension up regardless. And honestlyyy, I guess it's not the kind of show people want to gif as it's 99% plot and not character/ship focused. But I thought there'd be at least one Idris Elba stan out there making gifs </3
