“ Dad, he’s isn’t bad at all. I love him, why can’t you understand that. He makes me feel safe”“ You told your father, Chris Argent, the hunter. “ He’s a monster Y/N!” You shook your head, “ Not once he didn’t hurt me. He protects me”
“ It’s true dad” Allison came down stairs helping you. She was your younger sister, you finished school early and graduated college. You were trained to be a hunter by your dad mainly.
Your father sighed, “ Your my daughter, I just can’t see you growing up so fast” He looked like he was about to cry, looking down at the kitchen counter, you walked up to him wrapping your arms around him.
“ I am not going anywhere dad, just give him a chance” Allison joined into the hug. “ I see the way he looks at her dad, and he knows you, myself, Stiles, Scott and the rest of the pack will hunt him down if he hurts her”
“ I just want you safe and happy” He wrapped his one arm around you, kissing your forehead and wrapped the other arm around Allison,kissing the side of her head.
“ Your the only once I have left”
Since Cora had came back, she became your best friend along with Lydia and Allison your sister. A few weeks ago, you and Derek had an argument which resulted into a heated kiss leading to the bedroom.
Sitting on the floor, holding your knees to your chest. You had bought a test, three to be sure. You were supposed to have your period 4 days ago but you missed it.
You feared for your life, you didn’t want Derek to leave you. You loved him and couldn’t imagine a life without him. The beeping sound alerting you that it was time to check if you were pregnant or not.
Gripping the counter, you peeked to see if you were.
Positive.
Closing your eyes, tears ran down your cheeks. You didn’t know weather it was happy tears or sad tears.
“ Y/N?” Cora knocked on the bathroom door. “ Everything okay? You been there for awhile now” You sniffed, “ Yeah”
That “ Yeah” didn’t convince her though, “ Y/N, open the door” She tried the door knob but you locked the door. She couldn’t get in unless she broke down the door. “ In a minute” All three test shown positive.
Gripping your hair, “ What am I going to do?” You asked yourself. You were going to keep this baby, now you were a bigger target to everyone because of this child your going to have.
Putting your hands on your stomach even though you weren’t showing just yet. “ It will be okay” You opened the door to Cora. You could trust her. She walked into the bathroom but stopped as her eyes caught on the pregnancy test.
“ Are you?” She asked, her eyes wide. She could smell the sadness and anxiety off of you. You nodded, she smiled throwing her arms around you.
“ This is amazing” She squealed hugging you. You laughed, wrapping your arms around her hugging her back. “ I am going to be an aunt” She pulled away looking at you seeing you upset.
“ What’s wrong?” You shook your head, “ Derek” Was all you mumbled.
“ You want me to get him?” You nodded your head, Cora left running to find her brother.
Derek stood with his mouth a gape as you tell him the news. “ Really?” He asked not believing the news. “ Yes, I am sure of it” His whole face changed into one big smile.
“ I am going to be a dad” You nodded your head, he walked up to you cupping your face in his hands placing a kiss on your lips filled with love. Pulling away, you asked, “ You aren’t mad?”
“ Mad? Why would I be mad?’ You shrugged, “ I thought you might leave me because I am having your child”
“ I am not leaving you, I promised you from day one I will protect you and stand by your side no matter what. You having my child is amazing, I can’t wait to see the life we made. A life to be brought into this world”
“ A crazy one at that” You mumbled, he chuckled before placing his hands on your stomach. “ You and this child are what matter most to me”
“ Did I hear Y/N is having a child?” Peter says as he walked into cutting off the moment you and Derek are having. “ Way to ruin the moment Peter” You rolled your eyes.
“ Glad to be a help” He smirked before coming up to you wrapping you into a hug. Peter had his moment were he was a dick but other times he treated you as one of his great friends.
“ Your dad is going to shoot me in the head when he finds out” Derek and you were standing outside your home. Your father and sister inside, “ he has to know weather he likes it or not”
You dragged Derek inside, “ Dad? Allison?” You yelled out. Your dad came from the kitchen, your sister peeked out along with Scott, “ What happened? Did someone do something/” Your dad said putting the towel he had in his hands.
“No I have to tell you something, well Derek and I have too” You looked at Derek seeing he was nervous, you cleared your throat catching attention of your boyfriend.
“ And hopefully you don’t kill me” Allison and Scott came downstairs. You looked at your dad, he had his eyebrow raised and his arms across his chest.
“ I’m pregnant “ You said avoiding contact with your father. “ Your What???!!” your father yelled, “ And he’s the father?! “
“ Dad-” He gripped Derek by his shirt pulling out his knife that he had in his boot. “ Dad!” you and Allison yelled rushing to him getting him away from Derek.
“ Calm down” You said, “ Dad, I am having his child weather you like it or not” He looked down at you then at Derek. “ I can’t believe you and him are starting a family together”
“ I am happy for her Dad, your going to be a grandfather, I know that you hate Derek but this is Y/N’s life. Your a part of it, just look at her right now. She needs you Dad”
He looked over to you , in your eyes he saw how scared you were. He wrapped his arms around you, “ I’m not happy about you having a child with him but I will do anything to protect you and your child. I am happy for you “
“ Thank you”
Your father opened his arms for Allison and Scott as they joined in. Derek was off to the side watching, “ I’m so happy for you sis” Allison said smiling wde at you.
“ Come here sourwolf” You opened your arms, a small smile laid on your boyfriend’s lips before he walked over joining in the hug.
You were getting bigger by each month , cravings started. You were staying at Derek’s loft since Cora, Peter and Derek can keep a close eye on you. Of course Allison and your dad came to see you as often as they could. When Stiles and Lydia found out you were having a baby, Stiles was jumping around acting like a goof. Lydia squealed telling you she couldn’t wait till the baby was born so she can shower the baby with gifts.
Currently you were eating a jar of pickles on your lap, Peter was watching over you while Derek and Cora wen to take care of some stuff. “ The only thing I dislike being pregnant is that I can’t go out and shoot my cross bow “
“ It’s a good thing your pregnant . You need to be off your feet, there is not much to do at your state” He said
“ Oh thanks a lot Hale, I really needed to hear that. I feel useless” you pouted.
Then you saw the look on his face, “ What is it?’ you put the jar of pickles down on the table. “ You know whenever out kind gets angry , a way to calm them down is to listen to the baby’s heartbeat of feel it kicking “
You made a “ hmm” sound, you never knew that. “ I might try it with Derek”
“ You should in a moment or two” You glanced at him confused until the doors to the loft opened revealing Cora and Derek along with Scott as they walked in. They all looked like they wanted to rip something apart.
“ Exactly my point” Peter said.
Derek still had his wolf face along with Cora. You stood up making Derek look at you. “ I want to try something” You said walking over to Cora first.
“ Y/N, be careful” Peter said. You put your hand up, “ Cora it’s just me..” You said inching closer to her. She roared at you, making you step back but you took a step forward .
“ Listen to the baby’s heartbeat” She looked at you unsure before she kneel down looking at your pregnant stomach. Her face began to change back to human. She had inched closer putting her head on your stomach.
She heard it, the heartbeat and the kicking. “ Looks like he/she know who her aunt is “ Cora smiled standing up, “ Thank you”
You looked towards Derek to see him back to human as well as Scott but Derek gaze was on your pregnant belly. “ May I?’ He asked motioned to you.
“ Go ahead babe” He kneel down putting his head on your belly. You stroked his hair with your fingers watching him. His beard tickled your stomach making you giggle. You knew he heard the baby, he was smiling. You knew it. He stood up looking you in the eye, “ I love you more and more day by day. I can’t wait to see them . Your going to be good at this, your going to be an amazing mother”
You pecked his lips, “ You’ll be an amazing father”
“ What’s this I hear about feeling the baby’s kick?” Allison came through the door with your dad behind her.
“ Come and feel” You becked her over. She clapped her hand as she rushed over to you placing her hand on your pregnant belly. Your head rose to look at your father, he had a wide smile on his face.
“ I love you daddy” You mouthed to him, this brought tears to him. The last time you called him daddy was when you were just a little girl. “ I love you too pumpkin” He mouthed back before coming over doing the same thing as Allison was doing.
