Imaginite is a mysterious crystalline substance first appearing in Skylanders: Imaginators. Generated by Mind Magic, they are the thoughts and ideas behind every creation harnessed into crystals, allowing those who use it to bring new creatures into being using Creation Crystals infused with the elements of Skylands, such as the Imaginators or the Doomlanders. Chunks of Imaginite are also scattered throughout the world for unknown reasons, being found in Imaginite Chests with four ranks of rarity: Common (blue), Rare (purple), Epic (gree), and Ultimate (yellow) and containing single pieces, or ideas, to be used inside Creation Crystals.

There are four total Life Element Creation Crystals, with the Legendary Life Crystal being the Icosahedron crystal.

As seen during character creation in Skylanders Imaginators, the inside of larger crystals of Imaginite is a neverending expanse of stars, nebulas and colorful skies corresponding to the current Element.

In Skylanders: Ring of Heroes, Imaginite can be obtained with the colors corresponding to a Skylander's rarity, once the character has been Superboosted to the max and summoned again. They can be used to Transcend Skylanders further, and combined into elaborate Imaginite Stars for the most powerful transcendences.
