Chief Imaikalani of Ka'u- Brook Kapukuniahi Parker

The famous blind Chief Imaikalani of Ka'u. (Ruling Chiefs pg 18) This beloved son of Ka'u is still revered today by his Ka'u descendants. He was a very powerful, (almost super human some say) in his battle prowess and greatly feared by his opponents. He could throw ten ihe, 5 in each hand like lightning raining down in a thunderstorm of death. He could also split a man in two with one swing of his club. He was assisted by two koloa ducks in the air that acted as spotters in battle letting him know where the enemy was. Also assisted by retainers, two on each side that supplied him with his weapons as needed with 40 more retainers for additional support.

Umi was also fearful of the chief until Umi's champion Piimaiwaa figured the only way to stop this chief was to take out his eye's in the sky and pick off his helpers one by one. This was done, Imaikalani was defeated and Umi was able to rule the entire Hawaii island.
