So much happened in my 27th year.
I lost 35 pounds. I had my first kiss. I came out to not only myself, but also to many friends and some family. I traveled to another country by myself. I went through many med changes, some good, most bad. There were many tears, but so many laughs.
I'm kind of sad to see it go, but I'm excited to see what 28 brings. 💝

5 things you’ll find in my bag: 1. My calendar book. I HAVE to have it, and I put everything in it. It’s usually overstuffed with papers and random crap I try to keep as a “reminder.” 2. Receipts. Dunkin Donuts. The grocery store. Target. Starbucks. Restaurants. I’m really bad at throwing them out. 3. Three pill bottles - JUST IN CASE. One, my empty med bottle just in case, the second is ibuprofen for cramps and the third is my headache medicine for migraines. I don’t take the last two very often. 4. The pen I stole from our hotel last time I went to NYC. 5. Two wallets because I’m too lazy to switch from one to the other. Basically my bag is a tiny backpack that I made into my purse.
5 things you’ll find in my bedroom: 1. A giant chest/crate thing of random fabric, notions, books, patterns, etc. from school that I have NO IDEA what to do with now. 2. My parents’ old turntable and my aunt’s receiver, which doesn’t work. 3. Water bottles. So. Many. Water bottles. 4. Clothes, everywhere. 5. A weird amount of random Broadway musical posters, left over from my brief obsession with NYC/Broadway.
5 of my favorite things: 1. Raindrops on roses. 2. Whiskers on kittens. 3. Bright copper kettles. 4. Warm woolen mittens. 5. Brown paper packages tied up with strings. No, I’m kidding. That’s my sad attempt at being funny. 1. Long, tight hugs. 2. Crawling into bed right after I shaved my legs and changed my sheets. 3. Hanging with my sister after not seeing her for a while. 4. Reuniting with close friends. 5. Sleeping in on my days off.
5 things I’m currently into: 1. Yuri on Ice. Sorry not sorry. 2. Lists, apparently? 3. Sleeping, omg do I love sleeping? 4. I don’t have many things I’m into that I can think of?? Crap. Um... Being more health conscious, I guess? 5. Uh... Planning elaborate vacations in my mind and never actually doing it?
5 things on my to-do list: 1. Look for a new position/not take things to heart at work. 2. Clean. 3. Make a dentist appt at a new place to see if they can fix my painful tooth. 4. Call to get my car looked at. 5. Focus more on myself and what I need to feel better, but also try to balance my social life and job on top of everything? It’s a work in progress.
