                    “AH, DONGSAENG. let the kid down, will you?”

it was normal behavior for Hyun-shik to have some RANDOM dangling in the air. it was against Jung-mo’s RULES to use their magic against humans without reasonable cause. PERSONAL ENTERTAINMENT was in no way classified as NECESSARY. the younger was just an asshole for the sake of being one.

                    “i’m giving you TWO SECONDS.”      he thought he’d give the other a CHANCE, but when his threat was responded to with a challenging grin, Adrien threw himself at his brother, knocking him into the wall. he turned his head to watch the shifter fall to the ground, failing to flinch at the painful sounding THUD. he focused on the other witch instead, grabbing him by the throat AND pulling him up to look at him.

                    “when i tell you to STOP, i MEAN it.”      with that, he dropped Hyun-shik back down to the floor, walking over to where the boy lay, pulling him up by the collar of his shirt.      “too stupid to read what OFF LIMITS means?”      he snorted, rolling his eyes.                

                    “come with me before you get yourself KILLED.”

NOBODY CAME TO A FUCKING CLUB TO HAVE JUST ONE OR TWO DRINKS. he went with FULL intention of getting as drunk as his dumb ass could handle before HOPEFULLY blacking the hell out. it was one of THOSE NIGHTS, when he could care less whether he ended up in a hospital having his stomach pumped, or waking up next to some dumb broad who’d decided it was a good idea to get a screw or five out of him. 

dropping down onto a barstool, the witch slumped forward, looking straight through the bartenders for a moment while considering his starting options. SOJU? definitely not beer. vodka? VODKA. he drew in a deep breath, eyes rolling before he paused, words not even having a chance to leave his mouth.

Jin-taek was good with faces  –  unless its owner was a BORING SACK OF SHIT. it didn’t take much for him to store the image of a being in the back of his mind  [ which also came in handy for CURSES ], so it was no surprise he’d recognized the one looking in his direction now. wetting his lips, he let out an unnecessarily loud sigh, hand moving over his forehead AND into his hair, pushing it back. 

                  “hey,”    he greeted, tone flat. as if he’d sound EXCITED. FAMILIARITY was a nice thing AT TIMES, but not when it would possibly ruin RECKLESS plans.

               there are no words, typical, really,  for the hybrid. ESPECIALLY when it comes to him. honestly, if it wasn’t for JAY, jilsaeg would have ripped this guy’s head from his shoulders. a low GROWL, guttural in its origins, is all of OFFERS in a way of a response. no way in hell will he indulge the other with a proper REACTION.

        he doesn’t know what to say  –  to Jae or himself.      what’s he supposed to do ?      give him the cliche  it’s not you,  it’s me  speech ?      that never made anyone feel any better about a breakup.

        allowing himself to get close to yet another person was a  MISTAKE  he deeply regret.      the shifter practically had Noah wrapped around his finger  &  his heart in his clutch.      there was nothing he  WOULDN’T  do for him  –  except stay. 

        all he’s ever experienced as result of growing close to someone is loss.      he’s thought about it for the past few weeks  &  knows he won’t be able to handle losing Jae.      after many in the past,  that’s just one loss he won’t be able to tolerate.

        it’s tearing him up so badly on the inside hearing his partner’s voice so weak  &  defeated.      he wants nothing more than to comfort him  but if he does that,  he knows he won’t be able to leave.

        “ you have the others,  love.      you don’t need me,  you know this.      there was a time before you met me  –  you were doing fine.      you didn’t need me. “      he catches a crack in his own voice so shuts up,  drawing in a deep breath,  &  rolled his eyes.      “ i can’t stay, i’m sorry. “      maybe they’ll cross paths some day in the future  –  he was fine with that.

Upon opening his eyes again, he looked at Jaehyung once again completely bewildered by the fact the other even opened his mouth to possibly utter another syllable. The glare he cut at him an immediate sign of his temper. “All this talk and what exactly have you done yet?” Already put off by the other’s approach, the fact he had ended up in the situation of containment with the other only made it worst. Daemian already hated closed spaces but closed spaces with other people only made it worst. Yet once again he gotten himself into a situation where he had no obvious way out and the other was driving him up wall already. When he had chosen to follow Jaehyung it was out of the pure benevolence of curiosity not because he wanted to be get trapped in a building with the other. “Before you spout another nonsense idea and we figure out a way out of here first. Why the hell did we let them lock us in here?”

       Lower lip trapped between teeth, Landyn tried to feign innocence as he preoccupied himself with taking a nice, long drink of the spiked eggnog…that he 100% did in fact spike. Swallowing, a shrug of his shoulders was followed quickly after as he smirked. “Not me!”

Jihoon hisses an unhappy look on his face. “You’re not a very good liar you know. I can smell the alcohol in this and you were the one who brought it.” Sighing the shorter male handed the other his drink. “Here you have it, I can’t have a hangover tomorrow  so I’m just going to have juice.”
