Hi friends! I’m back after a VERY quiet past few months! As we all know, things have been crazy and the world has changed so much in such a short time. I honestly was feeling super burnt out on trying to create perfectly Instagram-able art, and that combined with a pandemic and all of BLM conversations made me want to take a step back from posting. Sometimes when people are using these social platforms for voicing important ideas and perspectives, it feels wrong to add to the noise with random day-to-day chatter. So I’m coming back with hopes of joining back in with the mindset of being a supportive contributor to the lettering community!! That being said, I really have missed sharing work here! Taking a step back has been so great for me. I’ve finally started feeling extra inspired to draw after realizing that I can just make things for family and friends. It’s so much easier when you make things for people you love! So I’ve got lots of exciting things to share and I swear I’ve said that a million times here, but this time I really do!
