In Atlanta Republican state representative Terri Proud wants to make women watch a video of an abortion before they decide to terminate their pregnancy or not. She says; ‘Personally I’d like to make a law that mandates a woman watch an abortion being performed prior to having a “surgical procedure. If it’s not a life it shouldn’t matter, if it doesn’t harm a woman then she shouldn’t care, and don’t we want more transparency and education in the medical profession anyway? We demand it everywhere else.’ If the transparency and education is all of a sudden so important every woman consider pregnancy and every pregnant woman should be forced to watch birth videos along with videos where things go wrong and the baby and mother dies. Since that is what a woman risks. Hammer into every woman’s brain everything that can go wrong during pregnancy and labor so she’s really educated and enlightened. Don’t let her escape the knowledge! And while we are educating her, lets remind her that labor is FOURTEEN times more dangerous than an abortion. Or should it just be pro-life medical knowledge straight from Narnia? It must come from Narnia since she says she wont change her mind unless the dead child tells her it felt no pain. Atlanta politicians use Quijaboards? Where are the men with the funny white coats you tie in the back? It would fit her perfectly.
