So I’m watching Wheel of Time (of course), and I decide I need to go on IMDB (of course), and I notice that the actor who plays Mat is only listed in 8 episodes while the other mains are listed for 9…. But then when you scroll down on the “cast” there is an actor there listed at playing Mat for one episode in 2022. Do you think they’d replace an actor for just one episode or does something happen in the books where Mat changes or something? I need to know lol

This poster is a lie. Matt Ryan is only in this movie for, like, 5 minutes. His character *is* of critical importance to the plot and has definitely committed crime and is definitely here to steal your girl, but... if you were hoping for anything more than what is almost a cameo, you will be disappointed.

The movie itself is a mixed bag - a meta affair about the making of an indie film based on an Ibsen play and how everything that can go wrong, etc. But it veers a little too wildly between comedy and drama at too slow a pace for my taste. Also, I'm not a big Ibsen fan. Your mileage may vary.
