IMDb, tamamen ücretsiz film ve dizi platformu Freedive’ı yayınladı

Netflix ve Hulu gibi platformlara takip olmak için harekete geçen IMDb, içerisinde popüler birçok yapımın yer aldığı tamamen ücretsiz dizi ve film platformu Freedive'ı duyurdu.

Sineme ve televizyon dünyasına dair rehber niteliği taşıyan IMDb (Internet Movide Database), kullanıcılar arasında giderek daha popüler hale gelen ve birbirinden orijinal içeriklere ev sahipliği yapan online dizi-film izleme pazarına giriş yaptı. 

Gelirinin tamamını reklamlardan karşılayacak olan Freedive isimli platformda birçok dizi ve filme ücretsiz şekilde ulaşabilmek mümkün. Ücretli (premium) üyelik paketi sunmayan siteye IMDb/Amazon hesabıyla giriş yapılıyor. Şimdilik The Last Samurai, True Romance, Memento, The Illusionist ve Awakenings gibi kült filmlere ev sahipliği yapan Freedive kütüphanesinin yakın zamanda zenginleştirileceği ifade ediliyor.

Ücretsiz olmasıyla rakiplerinin bir adım önüne geçen IMDb, ayrıca X-Ray teknolojisiyle film ve dizilere ait müzik, yapımcı ve oyuncu bilgileri gibi özel verileri de paylaşacak. Şimdilik sadece Amerika’daki kullanıcıların erişebildiği platformun ilerleyen dönemlerde geniş coğrafyalara yayılması tahmin ediliyor.

IMDb Launches Its Own Streaming Service, IMDb Freedive Because everybody and their grandma is doing streaming services these days, which is understandable because we're all busy and we'd prefer to watch our shows online or on our smartphones than the usual old fashioned sitting on the couch in front of the TV in the living room, anyways, IMDb is also now joining the game.
