I'm Different Now

You come to feel as if things will never change, you lull yourself into a false sense of comfort and certainty, but as the seasons pass and the leaves change, so does everything else. Those you consider close, what you do and even yourself and then just when you let your guard down and you fall back into that sense of assuredness, the leaves will once again begin to fall, accompanied by a brisk winter's chill and the cycle will once again repeat itself as it always does.
