It's finally June (happy rainbow month everyone! 🌈) so it's time for my annual "spot the QL actor at Bangkok Pride Parade" post in which I lurk around the socials to spot familiar faces and share some happiness (here's last year's post for even more happy memories).

As usual, please keep in mind that this is a month-long event for Bangkok Pride that already started yesterday. Many actors might not be able to attend for work-related reasons, they might attend other events or show their support in other ways. This post is for the Bangkok Pride Parade only because this is the part I enjoy most (but please feel free to add to it because the more 🌈✨ the merrier).

And who better to start with than Earth Katsamonnat aka Cooheart. I wish tumblr would let me post more than one video because he. is. breathtaking (but what else is new).

Earth is there with his fellow WabiSabi actors Oat Tharathon, Tonliew Methaphat and Golf Pasatorn.

Next up we have none other than Gun Atthaphan, and it makes me so so happy to see him there.

And of course it wouldn't be a Pride event without Bank Mondop and Mos Panuwat.

They joined along with fellow Star Hunter actors JJ Rathasat, Fong Bovorn and several members of Star Hunter's girl group Cosmos.

Here we have Nut Supanut and Ping Orbnithi in traditional attire from their upcoming BL I'm the Most Beautiful Count. It's really difficult to find good pictures this year since it's mostly videos so I can't even show them in their whole glory. Nut especially deserves an award for walking Pride in these heels (then again, by now he's probably a pro):

Finally a good pic of Kongthup's artists walking the parade (it took me hours to find anything that wasn't a video): Mon Taechin, Pak Varayu, Lee Long Shi, Krismon Thanawat, Top Sumethee and Arm Chaiyapat.

Park Anantadej and Big Thanakorn are attending again this year as well but this is the only halfway recognisable pic of them both I could find (pls up your video limit tumblr I can't do this anymore).

Yoshi Rinrada is there as well (she's walking with Gun Atthaphan but I couldn't find any stills/pictures of that either 😭) and she is stunning.

I had to resort to taking blurry screencaps to give you Nice Boripat and Gunner Natsakan. They look much better on video so if you hop on over to the hellsite that is x you can see them in motion.

I finally found pics of our newlyweds Porsch Apiwat and Arm Sappanyoo.

Next up we have some of the cast of the upcoming muay thai BL Swing Kick: Beboy Nanthakorn, Team Tatchanon and David Matthew Roberts (I think... only Team was credited 😭)

Tiger Tanawat (the one Change2561 actor who's curiously always outsourced to other BL productions) was there by himself and walking alongside the group from Kongthup.

I will update this post as I find more pics of actors but for now this is it. Again, if you spotted more actors that attended (especially GL actresses because this is definitely my blind spot here) please feel free to add to this post or let me know.

I've been thinking about this topic for awhile and I need it to live anywhere else except my head. Amen.

This is not a deep dive into any of these actors, their sexuality and real life relationships with each other. It's just, have you ever watched two people together and you're like: "yep, they want each other" 🤣😅 or, "yep, that boy is thirsty af" 😌. Like, my guy, you're not fooling anyone.

I don't even ship them, it's just entertaining to watch.

1. Fort wants Peat. Period. That boy isn't even trying to hide it and honestly, I respect it.

2. Boss finna kiss as much of Noeul's body as the producers will allow. I can't read Noeul, he just seems down. Down for what? I can't tell.

3. One thing about Zee is, he's gonna lick someone's son. Zee had a whole one-sided crush on Saint. 😅

I don't know what's going on between Zee and Nunew, and I don't care to know (it's none of my business). However, Nu gives "match my freak/crazy" energy around Zee.

4. Max and Nat mutually want each other. What can I say?

5. Billy with both Seng and Babe. Billy is like Zee, if the job entails kissing someone's son, he'll be there, and he'll do the job well. 😉

6. Billkin sometimes looks ready to risk it all for PP. - I know the rumours about their alleged relationship but for what it's worth, I don't actually believe it. This is not a comment on the nature of their relationship. I just think that sometimes Bill looks ready to ruin the friendship. 🤣😌

7. I don't know what's going on between Mile and Apo (and again, I don't need to know) but I feel like Mile would donate his artery if Apo needed one. Oddly, it doesn't seem romantic. He just appears to have a sincere admiration and love for Apo. Almost brotherly, almost friendship, but in a "I wanna lick your face" kinda friendship.

8. Fourth and his one-sided crush on Gemini. Cute.

9. Joong with both Nine and Dunk. Joong does not have to be told twice to kiss Dunk! It's cute and kinda funny sometimes.

10. Man didn't need the director to yell action. He stayed ready to kiss Ben.

11. I feel like I'll burn for this, but... Nanon had a thing for Ohm. I don't even think I can put a name to said "thing", but it was there and I can't believe I'm the only one who clocked it because no one talks about it.

12. Gun's former crush on Off.

13. Mew's unreciprocated feelings for Gulf; which he'd probably deny today because of whatever happened between them.

14. Frame and Ryan. Honestly, get it boys.

Thanks! Lol i don't know if it's actually possible cuz the mix of fan-service, conservative investor dependency, and vague language put through translators makes it nearly impossible for active and legitimately dating CPs to come out in a way that's totally decisive. I’ll jus do my best, and you can judge the same way you judge the authenticity of other celebrity couples, I guess. I've kept it to the G and T side of the rainbow—that's my speciality. But lmk if you want to know others, and I'll do some research.

These couples are officially dating. No ifs, ands, or buts. They have confirmed in an official capacity (in front of press or in written announcements). They are as official as any celebrity couple can be.

Don't Call It a Koojin

These couples (all CPs, except for Mike and Godji) have either made repeated statements on official platforms that heavily suggest they are dating, or they have made a statement on an unofficial platform like a livestream but have not confirmed it on an official platform (public interviews or in writing). Importantly, they are not denying they are dating. There's too much ambiguity to call it officially dating, but they are putting in efforts to see that their relationship is treated as more publicly legitimate than a koojin (the Thai word for imaginary coupling).

Note to the unfamiliar, despite other kinds of fan-service, CPs tend to avoid directly saying they are dating or referring to each other as partners or faen, the gender-neutral Thai term for a boyfriend/girlfriend. I’ve seen actors in interviews jump and immediately correct themselves when they cross that line, even in jest, so the below examples really stand out. Typically you can look up a ship name and “confirm” on tiktok or google for more evidence if you’re interested.

BL ships that like to devour each other

So the idea for this post came after watching the latest This Love Doesn't Have Long Beans episode, and people in a discord server I am in talking about MosBank in Sunset x Vibes.

We have more then enough BL's ships out there. But not every ship is the same. Today I will talk about some ships who don't seem to get enough of each other when it comes to kissing and or NC scenes on screen.

One of the new ships on the block and they did not dissapoint. Hungry kisses in the shower. As if they have been waiting for a lifetime to kiss each other.

Anyone who has seen Love In Translation knows about the iconic earthquake kiss. There was no holding back, they were going all in. To the point you might even wonder if it was their first time kissing each other.

FirstKhao

An GMMTV ship on this list? Yes! We had good kisses already from them in The Eclipse but it only got even better in Only Friends. Perfect hungry kisses.

Starhunter's high heat couple is also on the list. They totally look like they actually want to eat one another. They are also very familiar with each other's bodies and how they "fit together". Especially how Moss's hands know exactly where Bank's nipples are at all times even under shirts

I think we can agree that this is a not what we expected ship. They were just a side couple in Pit Babe but boy did they I am sure exceeded our expectations. Also we know Pon from Starhunter and his ship with Bank. But that ship was on the complete opposite side.

Finding the Fake Short Kings PART 2!

So after the first post (See Part 1 here) I did I couldn't stop thinking...are there actually any true short kings in BL? Or is it all just an illusion? So after more digging, I bring you PART 2!

While keeping my AVERAGE height cut off of 175cm (or roughly 5'8") I have now discovered that IT IS A LIE! The only true short king in BL I think I have found so far is *drumroll* Nat Natasit at 165cm or 5'4". Out of the 22 new names that I have added to the list only SEVEN came in under the 175cm average.

And now...the MEGA Height list combining Parts 1 & 2!

The black silhouette/line marks the 175cm average, and as you’ll see, the vast majority of BL actors, even the ones perceived as “short”, are actually above average. (Apologies for the tiny text size)

Before I do the individual breakdowns, here are some interesting data points that I noticed.

Zee and Max are shorter than I expected, both at 182cm (about 5'11") and just barely taller than some of the “bottoms” like Zi Yu (180cm, Revenged Love) and Raiden Lin (178cm, See Your Love).

Meen and Ping are very tall, with Ping coming in at 186cm, taller than many of the “tops.”

Cooheart/Earth is not as small as I thought! At 172cm (5'7"), they are below the average but actually taller than Fluke, who’s 170cm (5'6").

Off (178cm) is only 1cm taller that Park Jae Chan (177cm)! Shows what a difference your partners height makes.

The biggest height difference in a pair is between Max (182cm) and Nat (165cm) with a full 17cm difference.

Park Seo Ham (193cm) and Park Jae Chan (177cm) are in second, tied with Ohm (186cm) and Fluke (170cm) at a 16cm difference.
