20. which sport is The Sport in your country? - I would say ice hockey. We also like to play pesäpallo, which is like our version of baseball.

22. what makes you proud about your country? what makes you ashamed?- I love that we have free education (including free university) and affordable healthcare and that Finland was one of the first countries in the world to give women the right to vote (and the first to have full universal suffrage, allowing women also to stand as candidates). I’m ashamed of the racist/sexist/homo- and transphobic people who want to make this country worse than it is. I think racism is unfortunately quite deeply rooted in the Finnish society, especially among older people, because we have been a very homogenous society up until the last few decades, and some people really love to blame the “outsiders” for pretty much any problems that exist. I think the majority of Finns are nice and welcoming, but there are some who make me feel ashamed of sharing a nationality with them.
