As the weather turns chilly and the daylight hours grow shorter, it’s a good reminder to look out for our neighbors who are living without reliable shelter. And as some folks are celebrating the bounty of the harvest and giving thanks for food on the table, it’s important to remember those who are going without.
We will be continuing to stock our Little Free Pantry, delivering Care Packs, and adding some cold-weather goodies to the Little Free Libraries as well (much thanks to a teammate who has us well-stocked with all flavors of teas, coffees, and hot cocoa packets!) Times are uncertain for indoor shelters and soup kitchens, so we’ll do what we can to fill in gaps and work with others who are serving those in our community needing support at this time.
