Disassociation had a surreal quality to it. After prolonged periods, time and place go from insignificance to reducing down into a sludge. They become indistinguishable. It was a terrifying perception.
While the other might have been experiencing this after a callously long time of imprisonment inside of a bubble, where ever she actually was, this Pink Diamond was forcibly thrusted into it after a traumatic event. The broad spectrum planetary level attack had only lasted a few moments, but it had destroyed everything. Every gem generated structure was laid to waste; that was, any structure that wasn’t forged by a Bismuth or built by hand. Many gems inside of those structures were destroyed instantly, and, this Pink Diamond from Reality Uva-17-B, had happened to be outside her generated sanctuary when it hit.
The attack had caused her to retreat into her gem temporarily. When she had emerged, it didn’t take long for her to realize what had happened. They had done it. They had attacked her planet. While this did send her down a horrific spiral, she had no idea just how compromised she was- she had begun seeing things... Other Diamonds, in a universe where Yellow ensured that there were only 4 and she was currently on her isolated peninsula where she had been hiding after the assassination attempt.
She was not okay.
