it rubs me the wrong way a little when i hear people complain about all the family christmas things they “have” to attend during the holiday season. maybe it’s because i have 3 relatives on this continent (in the entire western hemisphere, actually), but it’s a privilege to have to put up with your whacky uncle. i wish i could sit down for a meal with my whacky uncle more than once a decade, yk :/

Okay I just have to put this somewhere. I'm an immigration lawyer, and sometimes my firm represents athletes whose teams are sponsoring them for visas or green cards. Anyway, I was reading a Hollanov fic today where Ilya passes the puck to a real hockey player and I laughed out loud because hey, I know that guy, I did his green card!!
