I think because Markus naturally views others as beneath him he doesn’t like people shortening his name, finds it belittling especially when he hears it from people like Immortal or Cecil who he assumes only do that to him because they perceive him as young

While Nic wants to be called by nickname since Nicole makes her feel like she is being referred to as her project instead of person and she doesn’t want that from people she holds dear

So Markus just wanted to return the favor, felt only right to give her some special privileges

What if I said that Mark being with Eve goes against the theme of Mark keeping his connection to his humanity?

What if I said Kirkman only had Comic!Amber to make mark realize he can’t be with normal women and needs a super powered one with an instant resurrection from death woman?

What if I said that in expanding the themes in the tv show, showing how having his connection to his mom is what keeps Mark good, his human mom!

What is I said that Eve is not only a bad match character wise because she only placates and fucks Mark, but also because she removes his connection from humanity?

And what if I said that Immortal is better than Mark because despite him knowing that every woman he loves will die and he will live on, he spends their entire life with them because being human is more important than being a superhero?
