Hello! I’m trying to solidify a timeline of events between BBS and KH1, and a bit confused on the “experiments” that happened in Radiant Garden’s castle. From the reports, it seems like Ansem the Wise ONLY did experiments on Xehanort, but the scene between Ansem SoD and Ansem the Wise at the mansion in KH3 suggests otherwise. And then we have the whole thing with Subject X. Just how much was Ansem the Wise responsible for the human experiments??? 🤔🤔🤔
So, omg, I promise I have a draft saved where I list out ALL the events between BBS and KH1 in order (from Lea+Isa’s story, to Skuld, to Xehanort and Ansem the Wise, Mickey, etc) but its not finished yet so I never published it OTL. BUT I WILL. I PROMISE ONE DAY I WILL. (i dont think you can reblog it cause its a draft, but just in case you can, please do not reblog that draft lol. it’s not ready!)
SO, for now, I can at least tell you that I’m 99% sure Ansem the Wise did experiment on people before Terranort even got there. And I believe this because of the scene of Isa and Lea after they meet Ventus, Isa said “are you ready?” while looking at the castle-- which implies they were just about to attempt to sneak into it. And in Saix’s Report 5 in KH3, he said he and Lea tried to get into the castle because of the human wailing heard and rumors of human experimentation. So piecing these two clues together, we know that the dark rumors of the castle were happening at least before Ventus arrived in Radiant Garden in BbS.
