Those helicopters are most likely for news coverage honestly. I don't think they're police. I have family in Baltimore rn and they told me the police are literally everywhere in squad cars, but I don't think they're in the air.
yeah most of them are for news. I live about 45 minutes from Baltimore, I have friends in the city who posted on facebook that they are mostly news copters but possibly a few police and definitely some medivacs. it’s so unnerving and my father had the stupid mainstream news channels on all evening and they were showing the same “violent” clips over and over but nothing about the peaceful protests or the police-instigated violence. judgmental white newspeople saying that the protestors are “ruining their own neighborhoods” and “should know better”. meanwhile I am concerned for my friends who live there and for my mom who has to go to work at Hopkins tomorrow.
